After the launch of Samsung B3310 slider phone, Samsung is all set to enter the Indian CDMA market. The company has teamed up with Qualcomm in order to launch the Mpower 699 handset with OMH technology in India. All CDMA operators will provide OMH SIM cards with this handset.
The OMH technology is compatible only with the CDMA phones. With the announcement of the launch of Samsung Mpower 699 in the Indian market, Jung Soo Shin, President and CEO, Samsung South West Asia HQ said that, "This OMH launch represents a paradigm shift in the dynamics of the CDMA ecosystem with consumers now having the flexibility to choose an operator at their will at any point in time. Equipped with various multimedia features like audio player, video player and stereo FM radio, this device comes embedded with an advanced mobile tracker.
