Samsung recently added a new mobile phone model to their stable- the Samsung Star 3g S5603. It is equipped with excellent features that come with a large 2.8 inch QVGA touch screen with the Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. This is considered one of the best UI’s in the making thus everyone could anticipate a new and better mobile phone experience.
The touch screen responds well to the movements of the fingers. The front panel of the model has an earpiece just above the screen as most of the mobile phone models and the light sensor and the secondary video call camera is located at the right side of the phone. The calling keys, back button and power buttons are also conveniently placed below the screen. The user would have to manually navigate through the menu because the phone has no navigation keys. The Samsung Star 3g S5603 is also equipped with an all in one USB jack for USB connection, charging and hands free function.
Critics view this as a disadvantage because the phone would not be used for other functions when it is being charged. At the left side of the phone, there is a volume rocker which doubles up as a zooming rocker for the text and camera functions. The right side also has the screen-lock key and below that is the camera key. The back has a 3.0 megapixel camera with LED flash and speakers at the bottom left of the phone. It also has an expandable memory that could range up to 16GB behind the battery slot. This is in addition to the internal storage of 80 MB. The phone menu is also very user friendly thus everyone would not have a hard time recognizing menus and sub-menus as well as navigating through menus.
