One more dual SIM Android mobile from the South Korean Mobile manufacturer, Samsung mobiles has been launched in the Indian mobile market. The Samsung has added a new Dual version smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite to its impressive Galaxy lineup. The handset is currently available for pre booking and the customers have to pay Rs. 1000 to own the smartphone. Today, the company has slated to the launch the impressive handset with very affordable price tag. Currently, there was no confirmation regarding the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite price, but it is expected to in the range of Rs. 6500 to 7000. The handset is the advanced version of the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos, which was previously launched by Samsung in India. The exclusive Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite pictures reveal that the device will be installed with the company,s TouchWiz User interface.
The Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite features with a preloaded music player and video player which will support multiple music and video formats. The phone comes with a 3.5 mm audio port where the user can plug in any generic headphone. The smartphone Lite has Google Android 2.3 or Gingerbread operating system and runs on 832MHz single-core processor. The dual SIM smartphone is a full touch mobile with a 2.8 inches LCD capacitive touchscreen that supports a screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The handset is measuring with dimensions of 58 x 103.5 x 12 mm.
The device is integrated with a 2 megapixel primary camera which lets user to record video with a great resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. It will be quite disadvantageous that the device does not have a secondary front facing camera for video calling. The handset is installed with smart camera features such as Fixed Focus, White Balance, Exposure Metering, Multi-shot Mode, Photo Effects and digital Zoom. The smartphone ships with a 1200 mAh capacity lithium ion battery which is capable to serve an efficient talk time and standby time. The other additional features of this device includes MMS Enabled, Flight Mode, Alarm, Caller ID, Call Waiting, Calculator, Clock, Calendar, Voice Recorder, Samsung Kies Conectivity, Task Manager, Voice Search, Swype, FOTA (Firmware Over the Air), Mobile Tracker and Voice Input.
The device comes with a 2GB user internal storage to store important stuff. The handset also supports an external memory slot which can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card. It is also enabled with web connectivity options that includes GPRS, EDGE, 3G and Wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-fi Hotspot. The user can ensure file transfers via Bluetooth and USB support. The mobile phone enabled with A-GPS connectivity with Google Maps support and shows the shortest and least traffic prone route to users destination.
