Samsung announces Galaxy Star Officially Announced

Samsung mobiles are known for their smartphones with wonderful and innovative features. On the same lines, Samsung introduces yet another Galaxy series device called Samsung Galaxy Star. Samsung releases this mobile in the Samsung African Forum 2013 event. This mobile is yet to be made available outside the African continent. Samsung Galaxy Star price yet to be disclosed by the Samsung authorities while it is tagged to be a budget phone or of low range pricing. The mobile is very soon expected to be released in South Africa first and later to the outside world. Samsung also launched another mobile called Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo in the same event.

Samsung Galaxy Star pictures a 3 inch display capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels at 331ppi pixel density and multi touch facility. The mobile runs on Android v4.1.2 Jelly bean operating system. The Jelly bean OS makes the user interface so exciting to the user. The mobile also has a 2 mega pixel rear camera that allows the user to take wonderful pictures at a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels with Geo-tagging facility. We can shoot videos using the mobile camera of QVGA type at 15fps. We do not have the option of secondary camera that helps in video calling.

Samsung Galaxy Star features various data connectivity options like GPRS, EDGE, WLAN with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 and USB with microUSB v2.0. We also have GPS facility with the A-GPS support helpful in navigation. We have sensors available for the device like Accelerometer and proximity sensor. The entertainment options in the mobile like FM radio, MP3 music player and also applications like Youtube, Picasa, Google Talk, Maps, Gmail etc. assisted by the connectivity which are adequate to keep you busy all the time. The mobile is available in scarlet black and ceramic white variants.

Samsung Galaxy Star is powered by a Li-ion battery of 1200mAh capacity. The mobile has Dual SIM facility that can be active all the time and the user can maintain separate professional and private life. The mobile has a RAM of 512MB that can help in quick processing of the operations held by the device. We have an internal memory of 4GB to store data. Along with the internal memory, we can store data with the help of a microSD card by expanding the memory up to 32GB. Samsung Galaxy Star is a low range smartphone that can impress the ones who are looking mainly for an Android device with exciting user interface options.
