Here we are with a good news for all the gadget freaks in India. There has been a price cut for many of Samsung mobiles including its current flagship mobile, the Samsung Salaxy S3. According to the records, the Samsung Galaxy S3 price when launched in India in May 2012 was a whopping sum of Rs. 43,000 and with the recent cut down, the price of the phone has been slashed twice since its launch. The current MRP of the device for 16 GB variant is fixed at Rs. 31,900 while some of the online retailers are providing it for as low as Rs. 30,000 and the 32 GB variant of Samsung Galaxy S3 is also available at a price of Rs. 34,900 after the cut down. The price of this mobile has almost been reduced by 25 percent compared to it's launch price.
Launched in colors like Marble White and Pebble Blue, S3 sports a more curvier look than any of its older brothers and resembles more to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, both in size and contours. The Samsung Galaxy S3 features a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD screen at a maximum resolution of 720 x 1280. At 306 pixels per inch, the screen ensures a great viewing experience while watching a video or playing your favorite games. Samsung Galaxy S3 sports an 8 mega-pixel rear snapper with advanced features like simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection & image stabilization to make your shooting experience a memorable one. In the burst mode, the camera takes continuous shots at a rate of 6fps, then picks the best shot based on smile detection, blink detection, contrast and blurring.
It also has 1.9 mega-pixel front-facing camera for purposes like profile pictures, video calls etc. It is powered by Samsung's own quad-core 1.4GHz Exynos processor and bolstered with 1GB RAM and it all runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Galaxy S3's 2100 mAh battery is a big improvement on that of S2, this one goes on and on unlike other Android phones. It is not as fast as the HTC One X, but it is a real power house that never slows down. HTC One X is the only real competitor of Samsung Galaxy S3 in every possible sense, but still nothing beats it's unique features like Smart Stay, Direct Call, Pop Up Play etc. Samsung Galaxy S3 pictures are available on various online sites, but none of them justifies the feature-packed beast. You must hold it to feel the power.
