Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc features and specifications in India

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc was released on 6 Jan, 2011 by Sony Ericsson under the name Xperia Arc aka X12 making it the first smartphone to be announced in the New Year। The price of the phone has not yet been announced but it is expected that it would be some where close to $750. Sony Ericsson Xperia ArcThe Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc supports both 2G in the form of various GSM networks and 3G in the form of various HSDPA networks. It is the first phone to use the Reality Display with Sony BRAVIA engine to give a crystal clear display for everything including Sony Ericsson’s own interface. It has dimensions of 125 mm x 63 mm x 8.7 mm and it only weighs 117 grams. It has a 4.2 inch TFT touch screen that supports many colors and has a resolution of 854 by 480 pixels. It comes with an on screen QWERTY keyboard. It comes with an 8.1 megapixel camera that has high quality picture capabilities as well as high quality video recording. The Arc has an internal storage memory of 287 Mega Bytes with 512 Mega Byte of random access memory (RAM) and one micro SD card slot that comes with 8 Giga Bytes provided. It supports high quality Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi, GPRS and EDGE connectivity’s. Sony Ericsson Xperia ArcSony Ericsson Xperia Arc operates on Android version 2.3 operating system and it comes with 1Giga Hertz CPU processor. For music lovers, the Arc has a stereo FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, Track ID, media player, music tones and video streaming and viewing. It also supports GPS for locating and tracking it whenever it is misplaced, It supports 3D games and motion gaming and it also supports a wide range of applications. It has face detection, geo tagging, image stabilizer, smile detection and noise suppression among other amazing features. For the office type, it has a document reader. The phone is powered by a 1500mAh battery. We can only wait to see whether the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc will be able to compete with the already existing dual-core processor smart phones. However, there is no denying that the Xperia Arc is an impressive phone overall and will make waves in the coming weeks especially after correcting the faults of its sister the X10 had such as the lack of multi-touch input and the less RAM. The screen has also been widened as is considered at this point to be one of the best in the market. The phone is designed by the Swedish company, Sony Ericsson which is known for making very good high end phones.
