Samsung India, the dominant mobile maker is all set to rule the Indian Mobile market with the launch of yet another smartphone Samsung Wave 3, in Indian mobile market. As the Indian festive month is around the corner and the month of September and October is lined-up with latest handsets or smartphones, Samsung mobiles seems in a mood of taking full advantage of this festive occasion. Samsung Wave 3 features a BADA operating system version of 2.0 and it is powered by a high-speed 1.4 GHz processor. The Samsung Wave 3 smartphone includes 4 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and displays images at a picture resolution count of 480×800 pixels which is quite good. The Samsung Wave 3 phone uses 16 million colors to show images and high resolution pictures with greater clarity and brightness. The display of Samsung Wave 3 features a touchscreen which is protected by Gorilla Glass(technology) and the touchscreen is also a scratch resistant one at the same time. The display also includes some smart technologies like Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Multi-touch input method, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off and Handwriting recognition. The Samsung Wave 3 phone comes with 3G data rates upto HSDPA standards as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Samsung Wave 3 comes with an integration of 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus which is capable of taking 720p video and high quality still images. The camera of the Samsung Wave 3 smartphone supports Geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection, image stabilization and touch focus. The Samsung Wave 3 handset is also fitted with secondary front facing VGA camera for video calling and chatting. The battery offers a talk-time up to 8 h 30 min on 3G. The standby time offered by the battery is 480 hours.
