Samsung Omnia W price in India comes down to the Rs.15,000

Samsung Mobiles has recently reduced the Omnia W price in India to Rs. 15,200 and created a buzz in smartphone space. FLipkart and LetsBuy are quoting the Samsung Omnia W handset at Rs. 15,200. It would be interesting to note the fact that the Nokia Lumia 700, the primary competitor of Samsung Mobiles, had announced a similar price cut recently.

Samsung Omnia W, launched in October 2011, as the first handset preloaded with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, Microsoft’s latest mobile OS, is facing stiff competition after the launch of its Nokia released its counterpart in January. When it comes to hardware specifications, Omnia W is almost at par with the Nokia Lumia 710. Samsung Omnia W features that could make it win hearts are a 1.4 GHz processor, a 3.7-inch touchscreen and a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, HD video recording and the common add–ons like 3G, Wi-Fi, EDGE, etc. The sleek metallic casing visible in the Samsung Omnia W pictures gives it a first-class look and a slight edge over Nokia Lumia 710.

The Samsung Omnia W, which was initially released at a price of Rs. 19,500, has already made quick inroads into smartphone market in India. Its strength lies in its efficient multitasking and integration with Office 365, Facebook, and Twitter. Omnia W is a fantastic alternative for the users who are eager to switch from Android phones opportunity, especially at the current market price Rs. 15,200. 3.7-inch super-AMOLED touchscreen, 16M colours, 8GB internal memory and a standard battery which offers upto 7 hours talktime and more than 15 days of standby time making the Samsung Omnia W more attractive at the current price. Mobile lovers are certainly enjoying the benefits of this price war between Samsung and Nokia as both of them are offering their Windows Phone devices around Rs. 15K mark.
