LG Optimus Vu and Samsung Galaxy Note are the product of LG mobiles and Samsung mobiles respectively. LG Optimus Vu boasts a 5-inch HD-IPS LCD screen and has a pixel density of 256 PPI. The screen offers decent viewing angle and lush colours but suffers from aspect ratio of 4:3 which rather hamstrings it according of high video playback. The Samsung galaxy note features a 5.3 inch super AMOLED screen and it has a pixel density of 285 PPI. The Samsung Galaxy note’s screen is among the best screen presently. It is gloriously bright, offers excellent viewing angles and sunlight legibility and is perfect for browsing the web or watch HD movies, thanks to better than average sharpness.
Samsung Galaxy Note is powered by Samsung’s very Exynos chipset which consists of dual core, a killer combination. The Samsung Galaxy device features 1GB RAM, either 16 or 32 GB of storage and slots of micro SD cards up to 32 GB in capacity. LG’s optimus Vu runs on Qualcomm’s MSM8660 snapdragon chipset which is made up of a 1.5 GHz dual-core Scorpion CPU and adreno 220 CPU. Performance wise the snapdragon chipset benefits from QUALCOMM’s experience offering slightly higher performance than the exynos across the board. The device also features 1GB RAM and come with 32GB of storage, but there is no room to expand. The Samsung’s galaxy note has 8 Mega pixel primary camera with LED flash touch focus and face and smile detection, image stabilisation and 1080p video capture.
It also includes 2 MP secondary camera which is perfect for some video chats. The LG Optimus Vu features 8 Mega pixels primary camera too which comes with LED flash, flash detection, image stabilition and also same is applicable for video chat. The secondary camera is 1.3 mega pixel camera and its effect is good. But Samsung note’s 2.0 mega pixel make fall down to LG optimus. The Samsung galaxy note gives feeling of well-crafted and durability and it is just 8.5 mm thinner while LG optimus is an angular and plain device. Overall, Samsung Galaxy Note takes over LG Optimnus Vu as it has much more features than the LG counterpart. Samsung galaxy note has some advantages over LG optimus like fast in speed, lightweight and will be cheaper in near future. Samsung Galaxy Note price is Rs 31,400 while LG optimus Vu price is Rs 32,000. LG optimus is a descent mobile but when it is compared to the Galaxy Note it lags behind. It is powerful, easy to use and other great features make it good. Due to lack of functionality in some major areas make, it lags behind.
