The South Korean mobile manufacturing company, Samsung mobiles has announced a new hybrid tablet smartphone device and named as Samsung Galaxy Note II. The phone-cum-tablet was unveiled on August 29, 2012 at the IFA 2012 Berlin Consumer Electronics Show. The device is currently available for pre order on Samsung's India e-store for an advance payment of Rs. 5000. The exact launch date was not officially announced by the company, but it expected to launch in the month of October this year. The Galaxy Note II is a successor to the first generation phablet and is expected to launch towards the end of the year. Currently, the Samsung Galaxy Note II price is expected to be Rs. 38,500. The latest Samsung Galaxy Note II pictures are currently available on various online sites and these reveal that the mobile phone is available in attractive colors like White And Black.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II features a TouchWiz User Interface that provides shortcuts to favorite applications and smooth navigation to the users. The android based smartphone also supports with a Exynos 5250 chipset. The device runs on Android V4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System supporting with dual core Processor that allows user to experience faster browsing and multi tasking ability. it is integrated with a 5.5 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and 16M color support. The display also loaded with sensor features with Gyro sensor, Accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor and digital compass. The smartphone comes with 1.5 GB RAM that ensures high performance and multi tasking ability. The phone is Java enabled via Java MIDP emulator and it has excellent multimedia capabilities like music player and video player with multi format file support.
The smartphone features with an 8 megapixel digital camera with auto focus, LED flash and a camera resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels which enables users to capture still images and record videos. The other camera features like Geo tagging, face and smile detection, touch focus, image resolution helps you to get better quality pictures. The device is also loaded with a secondary front facing camera that ensures high quality video calling and video conferencing facility. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is probable to arrive in october 2012.
The device is enabled with smart features like S Pen Stylus, Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, TV-out, SNS integration, Document editor with Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF. The handset is integrated with an ample internal memory option of 16GB or 32GB and an external memory card slot up to 32GB via microSD card that ensures users to store more document, files and contacts. The handset supports data connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, 3G connectivity supports with HSPA+ and LTE, EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, EDR and microUSB v2.0. The handset comes with the stereo FM radio with RDS and HTML5 and Adobe flash internet web browser. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is equipped with some Google mobile services such as Google mail, Google Search, Google Play, YouTube, Google Talk and Google Maps Navigation. The other social networking sites include Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus.
