4.7 inches Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro launched in India

Better known as Galaxy Win Duos, Samsung's quad core processing smartphone is now available in the Indian mobile market. It is called as the Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro and runs on the popular Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean mobile operating system. It also powered by Samsung's TouchWiz UI layer on top and Motion UI that allows users to control the phone when a certain move is detected. It is a dual SIM Android smartphone from Samsung, and selling on the popular online retail stores at Rs. 16,570. Samsung mobiles have officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro price in the country and it is to be INR 17,290. The device is packed with powerful 1.2 GHz Quad-Core CPU that offers advanced computing power to handle all your applications, multitasking and more. The company claims that the gadget will be available in exciting color options including Ceramic White and Titan Gray.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro features a 4.7 inches TFT capacitive touch screen supporting with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. This multi-touch input screen is packed with a 199-ppi pixel density to deliver a better viewing experience. It has an inbuilt user memory of 8 GB and can be expanded up to 32 GB with external microSD slot support. It is backed by 1 GB of RAM to support device performance. The smartphone comes with a 5 megapixels camera at the rear, supporting with auto focus and LED flashlight. It is having a resolution support of 2592 x 1944 pixels. The other camera features include Geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and video recording with 720 pixels at 15 fps. It has a VGA camera at front for video calling.

It is a good smartphone for browsing since it comes with connectivity options like; GPRS, EDGE, 3G with HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot and DLNA. It has Bluetooth V3.0 and microUSB v2.0 slot to share data with other compatible devices. The power supply is provided from a Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery that produces a talk time of 11 hours on 3G and a standby time of 210 hours on 3G and 2G networks respectively. For navigation, the device has A-GPS support and Google Maps. It comes pre-loaded with other Google apps like Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk and Picasa integration.
