Samsung mobiles and Apple mobiles are two of the most favorite brands resent in the market that are manufacturing tablet computers across the globe. Both the brands have a good market reputation and offer great services even after the purchase. So these are two most dominant tablets currently in the tablet market. Apple has the class and the perfect looks whereas Samsung is available at a cheaper price and has competing features. Samsung has launched its Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 311 back in July whereas the Apple iPad mini was launched in the previous year. Now let us compare the two in terms of looks and Apple iPad Mini features.
In terms of looks and design, Samsung has a plastic body with a plastic rim around the edges. It is also taller but weighs 314 gms. It has three physical keys which capacitive touch sensitive below the display screen. On the right edge of the device it has the volume control and Power button. On the left side it has microSD card slot for expanding the external storage. It has a 8.0 inch of Capacitive display screen that has a high resolution of 1280 X 800 pixels. On the other hand Apple has a metallic touch in its build with Aluminum rim around the edges and it just weighs only 312 gms. It has just a single home key below the display screen which is the patent design for the Apple devices. On the right side of the device it has volume keys and screen toggle keys whereas at the left side there is nothing. It comes with a 7.9 inches of touchscreen display that offers a resolution of 1024 X 768 pixels.
In terms of features, Galaxy Tab 3 is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core Exynos 42112 SoC processor with 1.5 GB RAM. It is available in two variants with different internal storage capacity of 16GB and 32GB. But in spite of the good processor there are flaws in the performance and device shows glitches while switching between apps. In its contrast, iPad mini has 1GHz dual core processor with 512 MB RAM support. It is available in three variants with internal storage capacity of 16GB, 32GB, and 64 GB. The performance of the device is far better than the Galaxy tab 3, it doesn’t have any flaws and has a smooth performance. Both the device has primary camera of 5.0 MP and secondary camera of 1.3 MP.
