Samsung Galaxy Tablets to get ICS update next month

The Samsung mobiles are the top leading mobile manufacturing companies in the entire global mobile market. The company is well known for its fabulous models of mobiles that are really unique in their own way. The company is expecting to release the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system update for Galaxy Tablet devices from next month. There is no official update but it is being expected that the first phase of update will be starting rolling out in the next month to the European and Korean countries. The ICS update is expected to provide a higher performance of the tablets, new additional features and a better battery backup. The update will be likely to the flagship models like Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus and few other Galaxy tablet devices.


The Samsung Galaxy Tab 620 also known as Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus comes with 7 inch TFT LCD display supporting a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. This device runs on  Android v3.2 Honeycomb operating system supporting with a 1.2 GHz dual Core Processor and 1 GB RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 series are currently available with the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and this Android phone operates with a 1 GHz dual core processor along with TI OMAP 4430 chipset and PowerVR SGX540 graphic processing unit. The tablet device is integrated with a 3.15 primary camera supporting with a camera resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The device also enables with high definition video recording features with 1080 pixels resolution at 30 fps. The front facing VGA camera is also well presented in this tablet phone that ensures video calling and video conference ability.

The other tablet in this series is Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. The device is fitted with a 10.1 inches PLS TFT capacitive touch screen along with a great resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and 16M colors. The device runs on Android v 4.0.3 Ice Cream sandwich operating system supporting with a Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, TI OMAP 4430 chipset and PowerVR SGX540 graphic processing unit. The device is integrated with a 3.15 primary camera along with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The tablet phone enables with video recording with a resolution of 720 pixels. The device is loaded with connectivity features that include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, dual-band, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2Dp, 3G connectivity with HSPDA up to 21 Mbps and HSUPA up to 5.76 Mbps. Recently updated news about Samsung is that Samsung Galaxy S III receives OTA update.
