Samsung Omnia W review

Samsung Omnia W, which is also known as the Samsung Focus Flash and Samsung GT-8350, was launched by Samsung Mobiles last year in the month of October. Samsung Omnia W is powered by the Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 mango operating system. Samsung Omnia W features Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor at 1.4 GHz. Samsung Omnia pictures reveal that it is a touchscreen gadget that comes with a weight of 115.3 grams together with a thickness of 10.9mm, which makes it easy to hold and carry mobile. Samsung and Windows phone logo is crafted on the back side of the gadget, which looks amazing. Samsung Omnia W price is tagged nearly around INR 15,000, which makes it a strong competitor against Nokia Lumia 800, Nokia Lumia 710, HTC Radar and Nokia Lumia 900.

The 3.7 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen gives a resolution of 480 X 800 pixels and 16M colors. The screen of Samsung Omnia W is sheltered by the corning gorilla glass, which protects the gadget from scratches and dust. Samsung Omnia W is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash along with a secondary VGA camera. The 5 megapixel autofocus camera gives a resolution of 2592 X 1944 pixels and it features image stabilization and geo tagging. Samsung Omnia W is outfitted with a camera button on the right bottom, 3.5mm audio jack on the top and Micro USB port at the bottom. Samsung Omnia W comes with an internal memory of 8GB along with a RAM of 512 MB and card slot is missing in the mobile. Connectivity features like EDGE, GPRS, WLAN, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspot are preloaded in the mobile. Samsung Omnia W also features Bluetooth connectivity option, which allows the user to transfer data by connecting it with other mobiles. An in-built map application in Samsung Omnia W permits the user to know about his/her current location.

Samsung Omnia W carries standard Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery, which makes sure that the user gets a talk time of 7 hours and a standby time of 370 hours. Samsung Omnia W is loaded with a multi format audio and video player together with a stereo FM Radio with RDS, which ensures that the user gets entertained and engaged. It can be said in conclusion that Samsung Omnia W is perfect gadget for those people who are looking for mid-range windows phone.
