HTC One S and Samsung Galaxy S III have 8MP camera

Samsung Galaxy S III is one of the top selling smartphone from the South Korean smartphone manufacturer, Samsung mobiles. Many of the top leading mobile manufacturers have launched innovative handsets in order to give a tough competition to this top selling smartphone. Recently, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC mobiles has launched an impressive smartphone to its one series and named it as HTC One S. Both the smartphones are the flagship models which comes loaded with impressive features. Currently, the Korean mobile giant has announced four new color options of its successful smartphone in order to make huge sales in the mobile market. After many price cuts, the Samsung Galaxy S III price in India is around Rs. 34,444 and the new color variant price will be Rs. 37,740. whereas the HTC One S price is also placed competitively and it is Rs. 33,590.

Comparing the display, the Samsung's smartphone includes a 4.8 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a great resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and 16M color combination. The display also features with sensors such as Accelerometer Sensor, digital compass, Gyro sensor, RGB sensor, barometer and Proximity sensor. Whereas the HTC display is quite small with 4.3 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen supporting with a screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and 16M color support. When comparing the performance, the HTC device is packed with an Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system supporting with a 1.5GHZ featuring a Krait processor. The device is also enabled with an Adreno 225 GPU and Qualcomm MSM8260A Snapdragon Chipset to ensure better performance and high quality gaming experience. Whereas, the Galaxy S III features with an Android v4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system supporting with a Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, Exynos 4212 Quad chipset and Mali 400 MP graphic processing unit.

The user can capture high quality pictures as the Samsung's device is integrated with an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash, autofocus, face detection and a resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels that makes capturing moment enjoyable. The phone is loaded with 1.9 MP front facing camera with 720 pixels resolution. The camera also features with simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and image stabilization. The rear camera is also capable to record high definition videos with a great resolution of 1080 pixels at 30fps. Whereas, The HTC One S is fitted with 8.0 megapixel camera along with an image resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels. The camera supports high definition video recording capability with 1080 pixels resolution at 30 fps and the user of the device has the provision of taking pictures even at low light conditions. The other features of camera includes autofocus, image stabilization, and geo tagging facility.
