Samsung Galaxy S Advance is expected to get a new Android update

The users of the Samsung flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S Advance are in excitement regarding the new Android based update. The Samsung mobiles is planning to roll out an Android v4.1 Jelly Bean update for this smartphone and it is expected to be available in the month of October, this year. There was no word on exact launch of this new update, but its is quite surprising that the company will be skipping on the Ice Cream Sandwich release and will be upgrading directly to Jelly Bean. It is one of the impressive smartphone in the segment which comes with beautifully curved design and powerful dual core processor. The bar shaped touch operated phone, Samsung Galaxy S Advance price is to be RS. 19,500. The impressive Samsung Galaxy S Advance pictures reveals that the device looks sleek and has a dimensions of 63 x 123.2 x 9.69 mm and hits the scale at 120 grams.

The device sports with a 4 inch Super AMOLED display which has a resolution of 480 by 800 pixels and uses a PenTile pixel arrangement. The display supports a WVGA Super AMOLED which offers the most vivid images for users all-around visual enjoyment. The display also comes with value added features like accelerometer, proximity sensor, digital compass, Multi-touch input method, Touch-sensitive controls and TouchWiz 4.0 user interface. The smartphone is also loaded with a 16 GB capacity of internal memory and an external memory slot which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card. The users can ensure best entertainment with its preloaded nusic player and video player with multiple format support, stereo FM radio with RDS and high clarity loud speaker and 3.5 mm audio jack support. The device is integrated with connectivity features which includes Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA. The device also supports GPRS and EDGE connectivity, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP and microUSB v2.0 with USB On the go support.
The Samsung Galaxy S Advance features a 5 megapixel autofocus camera supporting with image recording resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels and LED flash and autofocus. The camera features geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and digital zooming features The smartphone also comes with a secondary 1.3 megapixel front facing camera which is capable to ensure a better video calling ability. The primary camera is capable of recording video with 720 pixels resolution at 30fps. The device originally runs on  an Android v2.3.6 Gingerbread operating system along with a dual core 1 Ghz Cortex A9 processor, Mali 400MP graphic processor and STE U8500 chipset. The device is powered with a lithium ion 1500 mAh capacity battery which is capable to provide a talktime of 15 hours and a standby time of 550 hours. The smartphone is enabled with a 768 MB RAM memory and 2GB ROM to ensure better performance for the users.
